The place that makes you feel like a child again. Where the boys seek adrenaline and the girls can be princesses. Walking through Main Street makes you wish you could live there. Disneyland is a magical place for everyone, but lots of people refuse to go because it’s so expensive. With a big desire to go we found a way to visit both parks for only €47,-. Here are a few tips on how to save money on your trip to Disneyland.
1. Make sure to go on a weekday, outside of the holidays
Not only is the park less crowded on weekdays it’s also a lot cheaper. We went on a Thursday in June, the weather was great, the queues weren’t that bad and the ticket price for both parks was only €47,- compared to €59,- in the weekends + July and €69,- in August.
2. Visit both parks in one day
If you go on a weekday, outside of the holidays you will have enough time to explore both of the parks in one day. You’ll almost save €100,- because the ticket price for two parks in two days is €140! Make sure to visit the Walt Disney Studio Park first because it closes earlier and the endshow with fireworks will be at the Disneyland Park.
3. Wait for special offers
Don’t book right away, Disney’s got special offers almost every month. Wait patiently for these deals, it can save you a lot of money!
4. Don’t sleep in a Disney Hotel
The Disney Hotels are great, but it’s really not necessary. I just can’t believe how much they’re asking for a night in one of these hotels. There are lots of great hotels nearby where you can spend the night for an agreeable price.
5. Bring your own food
Everything in Disney is expensive, you’ll pay €7,- for just one hotdog! Bringing your own food is a good way to save money. As long as you don’t bring an entire cool box, the park allows you to bring your own food. There is even a specific picknick area.
