New year, new adventures! My new years resolution this year was definitely to spend less money on bullshit and save up for more travels! 2017 is going to be a great travel year and i’m so exited for the adventures ahead of me. The year will start off with a girls trip followed by a romantic week on a greek island. Shortly after that holiday i will be packing my bags for a once in a lifetime experience. I will leave Europe for a month to do charity work. Last but not least i will be finding myself at a Miranda Lambert concert!
First off, Switzerland!
Yes, so happy to be spending easter in Switzerland. I will be heading there with two of my best friends. We’ve been planning this trip for a long time and it looks like we’re going to pull it of this year. We’ll be staying at my friends parents’ cabin, which is surrounded by beautiful nature and close to a lake. Shopping in Zurich, cruising around the lake, exploring the small villages and enjoying each others company, that’s what this trip is all about. Also i’m hoping to make some great photos.
Next up, Zante(Zakynthos)!
My next travel destination is going to be Greece. Me and my boyfriend are leaving the cold to explore the beautiful island Zante! With its caretta caretta turtles, gorgeous white beaches and stunning caves, it is probably one of the most beautiful islands of Greece. I hope it turns out to be just as pretty as i imagine it to be.
Volunteering in Tanzania
I’m sure that all my trips are going to be amazing, but this one is probably going to be the most special. I’ll be leaving my home to live and volunteer in Arusha, Tanzania for a month. As a law student i chose to be a part of a human rights project by Projects Abroad. The human rights office in Tanzania works with women’s groups and a juvenile centre. I will be providing support to those who have faced human rights violations and educating them on relevant legal matters. In my time over there i will be staying at a host family which is something new for me. I’ve never stayed at a host family before, so i’m very curious about that experience.
Last but not least, London!
I’ve never been to London which is quite bizar, while its really not that far from home. I’m so excited for this citytrip and not just because of the sightseeing. The actual reason we’re going to London is to see Miranda Lambert, she is giving a concert which we’ll be attending. Besides that, this is going to be a very touristy trip, we will be going to all the main sights and to the harry potter studios!
Are you going on some adventures this year?
