Bora Bora is a private sauna complex with two different units, in this review I will cover Unit 1. Let’s just dive right in!
The most important thing in a sauna review must be hygiene, because no one is able to relax in a filthy environment. Luckily everything was super clean, so that is definitely a plus! We had no complaints about this part. We felt very comfortable in there.
The unit provides everything you could possible need. There is a pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna , a turkish steam bath, showers, a minibar and a place to lounge.
The pool was very nice, it has a temperature of 31 °C. The jacuzzi is a bit warmer 36 °C, which is just perfect and also the sauna was just how we liked it. The steam bath was very minty, which is probably nice for most people, but for me not so much while I really really don’t like mint. You also have to be aware that the steam bath needs some time to get warm. I recommend to put it on and wait for 10-15 minutes before entering. The mini bar was great, a lot of different types of drinks and snacks and it was also not expensive.
I must say it was quite expensive in comparison to some other private sauna’s, but all the other ones were booked. We paid €108,- for two hours. It was only the two of us, but if you decide to go with more people it gets cheaper. For the price schedule click here . The benefit of choosing a bit more expensive complex was the facilities we’ve got, it was definitely worth it!
I would definitely recommend Bora Bora, it also has an B&B if you want to stay the night! Its located near Antwerp, so you can also spend some time in the city.
If you decide to go, have fun and let me know what you thought of it!
